If you passport is lost of stolen, immediately report the event to the nearest embassy or consulate and the local police.

WEATHER & TIME ZONE

Average temperatures in Miami range from a low of 68° F to a high of 80° F. The city, and most of the state, is in the Eastern Standard time zone. (Greenwich Mean time minus 5 hours)

April is usually blessed with plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures. However, unexpected downpours do occur. Remember to keep an umbrella handy, in case of inclement weather.

WHAT TO PACK

Pack everything you'd need in any other major city -- except clothing for cold weather. For daytime meetings and presentations, lightweight suits and business-casual attire remain appropriate. A light sweater, shawl or jacket will suffice for cooler evenings. Casually elegant attire is recommended for our social and networking events. And, of course, pack light, cotton clothing and a pair of sandals to wear during your time off on South Beach.

Savvy travelers always bring a carry-on bag packed with everything needed in case luggage is lost: a change of clothes, medications, spare contact lenses or glasses, important documents, all forms of money and anything else necessary for your overnight comfort.

TRANSPORTATION

Telefonica will provide transportation to the Vizcaya Dinner, South Beach Party, Golf Tournament, Sailing Regatta and Spouse Program venues. Transportation pick-up will be at the lobby of the Loews Miami Beach Hotel.
