Critical Skills for Managing in the 21st Century: Can Leadership Be Taught?

What are the skills and behaviors that distinguish extraordinary leaders? More specifically, given today's complex business environment, what leadership skills are businesses looking for in their new hires and in their high potential employees designated as the future leaders of the company? This session intends to generate discussion about essential elements of leadership development, the extent to which leadership can or cannot be taught, and the implications for companies and business schools in how they collaborate to prepare extraordinary leaders of the future.
