Remote Storage and Backup

Remote Backup services leverage Telefónica's Global Network. Telefónica's replication services provide customers with a secondary site to store data in the event of an unplanned outage.

This service does not provide the customer with a production site, nor does it provide the customers end users with access to the Data. However, this service does supply customers with an up to the minute copy of their Data at a remote site.

When the production system is available to be brought back online, the Data can then be copied back from Telefónica's premise to the customer's premise(s).

For customers who do not have the need for immediate restoration of applications, Telefónica offers Data Backup services. This service can provide customers with up-to-the-last minute transaction backup on a secondary appliance in a remote facility.
