Telefonica’s VLL, or VPN LAN-to-LAN, services allows for the creation of Layer-2 (Transparent Layer) Virtual Private Networks, either point-to-multipoint or point-to-point.

VLL services connect the Local Area Networks (LAN), of geographically dispersed locations so that all sites can communicate between each other as if they were on the same LAN segment or in a same building.

VLL is a Layer-2 based protocol as opposed to IP MPLS VPN is a Layer-3 protocol.
